Hey sweetpeas!
I want to apologize for the blog lapse. Life is settling down and the blog will be back up and running . . . pinky swear. I’m excited about some ideas I have and changes that are in the works: some contests, some author interviews, info on craft, and a few other delicious things.
One hat that I’ve added to my ever-growing collection is as a contributing writer for NEKMoms.com. My first blog post is up today and I’d love for you to jump over there, take a look and let me know what you think.
I’ve actually been writing on my novel!! Yes, you heard me right. Words on paper and most in the form of sentences. (Cue confetti, unicorns and chocolateers). It’s a contemporary romance/thriller/paranormal . . . yea, I know . . . pick one already. If you’d like to see the ideas I’m playing around with, check out my pinterest board:

My goal is to have the dang thing finished by November so that I can submit it to Romance Writer’s of America’s Golden Heart contest. So, I’m counting on all of you to crack the whip.
And to return the whip cracking favor, I’m asking a question today. I’m learning that baby steps are just as good as giant steps, just as long as you’re stepping toward your dream.
